Hello everyone and happy Saturday! It’s me – now a Mrs.! I can’t believe this is my first blog post as a married woman! I feel like I have a million wedding details I want to cram into this post, but I’ll add multiple post over the next couple weeks. So make sure you keep an eye out for new posts! First things first, our wedding day was the best day of my life! I honestly could not stop smiling I was so happy 💕
To start off the rehearsal dinner day, I went and got my nails done at Mitchell’s Salon. I have been so excited to share them with you, they turned out so perfect for the big day 😃 I asked for an ombre french tip and I absolutely loved the way they turned out!
Okay, now onto the rehearsal dinner details ✨ Let me just start off by saying my stomach was full of butterflies during the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner because I think I was full of pre-wedding jitters and excitement, but just as everyone said, it all turned out perfect. I did want to answer a couple questions about our rehearsal dinner for you guys. The dress that I am wearing is actually another amazing Amazon find! It was the perfect amount of drama and comfort all wrapped together.
We held our rehearsal dinner at Larosa’s Pizzeria on Boudinot Ave in Cincinnati. We chose this restaurant because it’s more of a casual ambiance and it’s a staple in Cincinnati! It ended up being a happy coincidence because mine and Cory’s first date was at Larosa’s and our last “date” as an engaged couple was there too 💙. We rented out one of their private rooms and there was plenty of space for all of us! For dinner we had salad, lasagna, pizzas, breadsticks, and hoagies! People had lots of options to find something they enjoyed ☺️ For dessert we had warm and soft chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon twists – SO YUMMY!
Cory’s dad gave a little speech about Cory and I, and it was really sweet. My favorite part was how he incorporated the word “always” and how important it is to Cory and I. We both will say “love you always” and if you are familiar with the Harry Potter world, you already know what I’m going to say 😉 (Cory and I are big Harry Potter fans!) Our cake topper was a gold acrylic sign that said “always” and it was so amazing that Cory’s dad mentioned the word in front of our friends and family and told a story about how much it means to Cory and I.
Otherwise, we mingled and celebrated with everyone! It was the perfect was to start our wedding weekend! Can’t wait to keep sharing more details and once we get our pictures back from our photographer, I’ll be sure to share them!
