HOW TO GIVE YOURSELF AN AT-HOME MANICURE

Happy Monday! If you are looking at these pictures thinking this looks a little complicated, I promise you it’s not! I have been preferring at-home manicures lately because of the pandemic and it’s saving me tons of money! I also love that you can play around with different colors and get creative! ๐Ÿ˜€ Here are the steps I did to get this pink nail look!

STEP 1: CLEAR COAT

Gel nail polish

The first thing I do is apply a clear coat to my nails. Even though I am using a UV light that requires gel polish, I just use a normal base/top coat. There are gel base and top coats that you can buy for gel polishes if you want! Then I put each hand in the UV light for 60 seconds each to let the base coat cure before applying my nail color!

STEP 2: APPLY GEL POLISH

After the clear coat has been cured, I paint my nails with the gel polish! I chose this really pretty baby pink color from Beetles Gel Polish, #688. I do one coat on each hand, do the UV light for 60 seconds and then do the same thing over again for a second coat. After I applied two coats to both hands, I do the top coat and put my hands back in the UV light (this is the last time!)

After all that, ta-dah! Your nails are ready to go! I’d love to see some of you amazing creations! Email me pictures or let me know in the comments โค๏ธ

Side note- today I start my last semester of college!
